Head Tattoo Artist
DANIEL is the Head Tattoo Artist at The Ink Spot. He is a natural born
tattooist and easily approachable guy who puts every effort into his job. His work always
impresses customers who come back again and again for additional work.
Dan got into tattoos after getting some work done by a registered tattooist called Chris, who
now works from a shop in Folkestone. It grew and grew from there and Dan got his own equipment
and started tattooing his own legs.
Trainee Tattoo Artist
SHAZ is a keen artist who has just finished her A-Level in Art and is now training to be a tattoo artist at The Ink Spot. She is very into dark imagery and abstract work and is available for designing tattoos. Although currently she is unable to perform any actual tattoo work as she has yet to obtain an artists license for the premises.
Tattoo Studio
The studio nearly didn't get the go ahead from the council due to the complaints, which were mentioned earlier. However the problems where worked out and the green light was shown. Dan was now free to start work on redesigning the shop front and interior to turn an old and run down commercial property into an eye-catching tattoo parlour.
Further into the shop are the tattoo work stations where Dan does his work. Themed posters cover sections of the wall space nicely as well as stencil work from past tattoos. We like to keep them up for a reminder of his work and also if the work is used again.
Our shop has a large open plan design with a nicely positioned reception area, which has office space behind it. Opposite the reception desk are the tattoo flash, where customers pick their favourite designs before having their consultation.
